The curriculum combines insights into educational policy, management, leadership, and preparing graduates to drive positive changes within schools, universities, and other educational settings.
This programme emphasizes practical, research-based strategies and is structured to offer real world applications in various areas, including instructional leadership, data-informed decision making, and educational policy analysis. Graduates of this programme will be prepared to take on key roles in educational administration, contribute to policy-making, and foster innovation within educational systems.
What’s unique about this programme?
The Online MA in Educational Leadership and Governance is taught by academics, who have spent years working in the field. The programme has been also designed after many stakeholder consultations with educational leaders within India and abroad. Even though it is an online MA programme, it involves experiential and project-based learning. Alongside, recorded lectures and self-study materials, students get an opportunity to interact with the faculty members and external experts during live synchronous online sessions every week.
The entire programme is divided into 4 terms. The first 2 terms involve core foundational courses, while the 3rd term offers specialisation in school education or higher education and the fourth term is devoted to research-based capstone projects, that the students will need to undertake and present successfully in order to get the degree awarded.
Who is it for?
The M.A. in Educational Leadership and Governance is specifically created for professionals who are passionate about making meaningful contributions to education, supporting institutional growth, and guiding future-ready educational practices.
