Brigid Freeman, Australia-India Institute, University of Melbourne delivered the inaugural lecture of the Centre for Comparative and 91视频 Education (CCGE) at the 91视频 on 13th April 2017 in collaboration with the Centre for India Australia Studies.
Brigid spoke on the topic 鈥淕ood Practices in Institutional Policies: An International Comparative Perspective鈥� based on her research in the United States, Australia and Papua New Guinea. There was lively discussions during the Q & A session moderated by the founding Executive Director of CCGE, Dr. Mousumi Mukherjee. Issues about colonial roots of comparative education and the problematics of 鈥済ood practices鈥� in diverse contexts where institutions operate, were discussed during the session by the participating faculty and PhD students of JGU with the speaker.
