On 13 August 2018, Associate Professor Tarunabh Khaitan delivered a lecture on 鈥淒irective Principles and the Expressive Accommodation of Ideological Dissenters鈥� at 91视频, Sonipat. The lecture was attended by students and faculty from Jindal 91视频 Law School. Tarunabh presented one of his papers which, using India as a case study, argued that constitutional directives can be a useful tool for the expressive accommodation of ideological dissenters who would otherwise lose out in constitutional negotiations in deeply divided societies.
